Unknown Soldiers

9th and 12th September 1944


 

These unknown soldiers washed ashore at Castricum around the 9th and 12th of September 1944.

Their identity or nationality is not known.

There is a possibility that these soldiers died off the coast of Normandy in June or July 1944 and drifted north.

these unknown soldiers are buried at Castricum Protestant Cemetery, Plot J. Coll. grave.
