Henry Raymond Glover born in 1921. He was the son of George Percy and Winifred Lauretta Glover, of West Lynn, King's Lynn, Norfolk.

Sgt Glover was an air bomber on a Stirling with 7 Squadron, operating out of Oakington.

On the night of 24/25 June 1943 the crew was tasked to bomb the German city of Wuppertal. They took off from their base at 23.34, flying Stirling R9281 MG-V.

Wireless operator Sgt Anthony Hunt

The Stirling was lost over the North Sea, presumably off the Belgian coast. It is not known how the plane was lost.

The wireless operator Sgt Hunt is buried in the Belgian cemetery of Oostende. Sgt Glover washed ashore on the Dutch coast and is buried in Castricum. Sgt Carter is buried in Bergen, just a few kilometers north of Castricum. The others are still missing and commemorated at the Runnymede Memorial.

Sgt Glover is buried at Castricum Protestant Cemetery, Plot J. Coll. grave 6.
