Location: Hoorn is
located in the northwest of Holland, in the province of
Noord Holland.
Hoorn is located about
20 km north of Amsterdam. The General Cemetery is
on a street called De
Weel. Driving from Amsterdam, take the A7 to Hoorn. Exit
on exit #8 and take a right turn at the traffic lights. After about 600 meters make a
right turn at the traffic lights. Make a right hand
turn at the intersection just before you cross the railway track.
The cemetery is immediately on your right. There is a
small parking lot on the south side along the Dampten.
The entrance is at the east side, on a street called
Keern.
