Location: Nes is located in the north of The Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. 

Nes, in the county of Westdongeradeel, is on the North Friesland coast, 45 kilometers north-east of Leeuwarden and 17 kilometers north-east of Holwerd.
The churchyard surrounds the church in the centre of the village. The graves of an airman from the United Kingdom and an unidentified casualty are located near the entrance.
