Kapral (corporal) and officer candidate (pchor.) Z. Anszer served with the 1st Polish Highland Battalion (1 Battalion Strzelcow Podhalanskich) of the 1st Polish Armoured Division (1 Polska Dywizija Pancerna). He was killed on november 3.
