Deventer General Cemetery
Location: Deventer is
located in the Centre of The Netherlands, in the province of
Gelderland.
 Deventer
is a town on the main road from Amsterdam to north-west
Germany (A1). It lies 45 kilometers north of Arnhem and
just east of Apeldoorn. From the A1, take exit 23 to
Deventer. The cemetery is 2,5 kilometers north of the
town, on the western side of the road to Raalte, called
the RAALTERWEG. The war graves are to be found in the
western portion of the cemetery, past the memorial
erected to commemorate Dutch resistance fighters.
