Location: IJlst is
located in the north of The Netherlands, in the province of
Friesland.
IJlst is about 22 kilometers north-west of Heerenveen,
30 kilometers northwest of Leeuwarden and 5 kilometers
southwest of Sneek. The cemetery is about 150 meters
from the church, on the southeastern outskirts of the
village. Close to the entrance are the graves of 2
Canadian airmen.
There are 2 war casualties
buried at this site.
