Location: Scharl is
located in the north of The Netherlands, in the province of
Friesland.
Scharl
is a small community on the south Friesland coast. It is
5 kilometers southeast of Staveren, 2 kilometers
southeast of Warns and about 48 kilometers south of
Harlingen. Take the A6 and then the N359. The small
cemetery stands on high ground in the centre of the
village. It contains the graves of five airmen, three
belonging to the Royal Air Force and two to the Royal
Australian Air Force. Two of them are not identified.
