Thomas Christopher Quinlan was an air gunner with 101 squadron, flying Wellingtom III bombers from Oakington in Cambridgeshire. His crew consisted of

Sgt William Richard Davey
Sgt Wilson Watson
Sgt Lawrence Hill
Sgt Gordon Alan Smith
Sgt William Horace Walker
Sgt Thomas Christopher Quinlan

Their plane was lost on 2 August 1941 on a mission to Germany. The circumstances and location of their crash are unknown.


 


 

101 Squadron

Sgt William Walker is buried at Leeuwarden Northern General Cemetery. Except for Sgt Quinlan, the rest are still missing and commemorated at the Runnymede Memorial.

Sgt Thomas Quinlan is buried at Scharl General Cemetery
