Location: Stompetoren is located in the northwest of The Netherlands, in the province of Noord-Holland.

 
Stompetoren is 5 kilometers east of Alkmaar and 42 kilometers north-west of Amsterdam. From Amsterdam, take the A9 not Alkmaar. When approaching Alkmaar, take the ringway in the direction of Heerhugowaard. After about a kilometer you cross a bridge and the road takes a dip and a turn to the left. Turn left at the traffic light (N243) to Schermerhorn. Stompetoren is located about 4 kilometers along this road. When entering Stompetoren, take a left to the chruch. The churchyard surrounds the church, which is in the southern part of the village, south of the canal.
