Location: Tolbert is located in the north of The Netherlands, in the province of Groningen.

 
Tolbert is located near the bigger town of Leek, which is a village and commune lying south-west of the city of Groningen. Tolbert is one of these villages, and is situated 17 kilometers south-west of Groningen, on the road (A7) Groningen to Heerenveen. The cemetery is about 300 meters from the village, on the road to Leek. The two graves are in the north-eastern part.

There are two war casualties buried at this site.
