located 40 kilometers north-east of Leeuwarden. When on
the N355 from Leeuwarden to Groningen, take the N356 to
Dokkum and Ferwerd. The churchyard surrounds the church,
which is in the centre of the village. On the side east
of the church are the graves of three airmen; one from
the United Kingdom who is not identified, and two from
Canada.
